Lesson - 1 A Triumph of Surgery ( James Herriot)

Ans. Tricki was a small dog. His rich mistress Mrs. Pumphrey loved him like his son. She had many beds, clothes and bowls for him. Due to overfeeding he became ugly and fatty. Dr. Herriot knew that Tricki’s real disease was overfeeding. He had lost all his energy. Mr. Herriot took him to his clinic and cut down his extra things to eat. Tricki's mistress sent eggs and wine for him. But Mr. Herriot did not give him all these things. He used these things himself with his friends.  He only gave him plenty of water for two days. Tricki regained energy and enjoyed playing with other dogs. And thus he was recovered from his illness without any medical treatment.
