friends tell her that Bruno had already forgot her but when she reaches near
the cage Bruno squeals with joy.

Ans. Santosh
is a very daring and strong
hearted girl. She always used to live her life on her own
terms. She was eager to get education rather than getting married like others
of her age. Even though her parents refused to support her dreams and finance
her, they had to back down against her strong will.

leaf has been the central point in the story. In the beginning the falling last
leaf is associated with johnses ailments and her approaching death. Behramans
last leaf conveys the message of courage, hope and optimism. It saves Johnsy life and thus it is an appropriate title for the story.

Ans. The author had just joined a new school. He was facing problems adjusting in the new school. Just after a couple of days his house caught fire. His school bag, clothes and shoes had burnt in fire. The next day when he went to school; he found a strange atmosphere all around. People were getting together all around him. They had collected money for him and arranged school supplies and clothing for him. This changed his vision for life once again. He felt relieved and thought things were going well for him. He also made new friends.
