Ans. The doctor decided that he would try to look more handsome.  For this purpose,  he would shave daily. He would also grow a thin moustache.  He would keep an attractive smile on his face. The second decision was that he would marry a fat woman doctor.

Ans. It was a small rented room. The room was not electrified.  There were two windows in the room. It had a titled roof with long supporting gables. It rested on the beam over the wall. There was no ceiling. 

3.What do you know about the doctor’s  profession and his income?
Ans. He was a homeopathic doctor.  He had just started his practice.  His earning was meager. He had about sixty rupees in his suitcase. He lived in rented room due to his poverty.  

4. What happened to the doctor while he was sitting in his chair?
Ans. When he was sitting in his chair, he heard a loud sound.  It was a sound as if a rubber tube had fallen to the ground. As he turned to look, a snake wriggled over the back of the chair.

5. What did the doctor find in his room next morning?
Ans. The next morning when he came back with his friends to move the things from there. Because now he didn't want to live there. But he was surprised  to see that there was nothing left to carry. A thief had stolen all things except his dirty vest.


Long Answer 
1. Is there a similarity between the doctor and the Snake? If so, what is it?
Ans. This is very interesting story related to a Snake. In this story, the narrator when he was sitting in his chair. He was looking into the mirror.  He was making some planning  to look more handsome. Suddenly he heard a loud sound.  It was a sound as if a rubber tube had fallen to the ground. As he turned to look, a snake wriggled over his left arm. The doctor was near his death. But as the Snake turned to look into the mirror. Thus we see that they both loved the beauty of their faces. Whenever they get a chance to look into the mirror,  they don't want to  miss it.
